Time for some Corden bleu! Gourmand James joins Hollywood A-lister Tom Hanks for a double dinner date in Los Angeles

He is a lover of the finer things in life.

And James Codren was clearly relishing having the chance to indulge his love of cuisine with Hollywood A-lister Tom Hanks in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The Late Late Show host was heading out for a double date with the Philadelphia favourite in the trendy Santa Monica area of the city.

Gourmand James, 37,  was showing off his new look slimline physique in a tight black pullover, jeans and flat shoes.

But the self-styled comic may have had to loosen his belt a few notches by the end of the night, as the megarich pair were dining at the chic Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi.

While Buckinghamshire boy James went for a casual look, Joe Versus The Volcano star Tom, 59, looked slightly smarter in a black blazer, white shirt, jeans and brown leather shoes.

However the pair were overshadowed by their glamorous spouses, with Tom's wife Rita Wilson wearing a glamorous monochrome coat, black top and trousers, while Julia Carey went for a blouse and jeans ensemble.

They even got the chance to indulge in a little star-spotting of their own, as fading heartthrob Orlando Bloom, 39, whose profile has been given a boost since he started dating Katy Perry, was also there.

While he is currently busy as host of the Late Late Show, James could soon have an even busier schedule.

Kaley Cuoco & Karl Cook: Definitely Dating!

Earlier this week, we reported that Kaley Cuoco appears to be dating a younger man by the name of Karl Cook.

At first, we were a little skeptical that the whole thing might be some sort of elaborate April Fools' joke.

Not only does Kaley loves pranks, but there are a few suspicious things about Karl - such as the fact that he seems to be a perfect male doppelganger of Ms. Cuoco.

They're both blonde equestrian riders with the same initials, and Kaley has used Cook as an alias in the past, as it's the English translation of her Italian last name.

But now it seems that if these two are just punking us, they're seriously, seriously committed to the bit.

Not only did Kaley post the above photo yesterday, seemingly offering fans an unofficial confirmation that she and Karl are an item, a quick search through pics from the actress' latest public appearances reveals that the two of them have been hanging out for at least a month.

Kaley and Karl were spotted taking in a tennis match together back in early March, and they seemed awfully friendly even then.

Little is known about Karl, other than the fact that he's a 25-year-old horse trainer.
